Why Be a Member?

Members of the Metropolitan Wilmington Urban League Young Professionals are defining, developing, implementing, and leading the next generation civil rights agenda for local, regional and national communities. Members of the MWULYP have the opportunity to serve the community, progress personally and professionally and socialize amongst other young professionals.

Who qualifies as a young professional?

MWULYP defines young professional as anyone who is committed to their career and personal development – no matter the chosen occupation. Like our community, our members are diverse and represent a variety of professional backgrounds including: government oicials, education professionals, community leaders, health care professionals, lawyers, entrepreneurs and much more.
